Reading and writing a foreign lanuage are very differnent activity. As a native Korean, I’m a fluent speaker and writer. I had once won a prize for my speaking my opinion with a confidence and now I am writing articles for one of major Korean software magazines. Most people recognize me as a good writer, even if I’m not the best one. In case of English, however, I should admit that I’m not a good speaker neither good writer. Living in South Korea gives me little chances to use foreign languages. My jobs(including ex-jobs) also left me no opportunites and all they want from me was just the skill of reading technical articles in English. So, as time goes by, my fluency has gone down. Well, if I had accepted an offer of working for the international software company, everything has changed. Anyway, I chose a different career path, so should do my best at this current position.
That’s the reason of this new blog’s opening. If everything goes fine, I will be a better writer at least. For speaking, another way should be found. I hope that this plan is going to work.
